    Service update 2nd December 2010

There will be no deliveries today due to the snowy weather conditions. However partial postal collections are likely to take place this afternoon.

John Bougourd, Sorting Office Manager, recommends that members of the public needing to post items urgently should take these to any Post Office branch as they are likely to be given collection priority.

Yesterday's mail was unable to leave the island due to the closure of Guernsey Airport. This is expected to be despatched today by boat.

Envoy House and Smith Street branches, the parcel Collection Office and BATIF are all open as normal.

Guernsey Post's Sark branch remains closed today.

    Alderney
There won't be any mail delivery in Alderney today however the Posties will do their very best to attempt the collection of mail this afternoon. Alderney airport remains closed therefore mail despatch is unlikely.
